Do I need a plan?
No. Free is free forever. Editing, captions and exports are included, and with Claude and ChatGPT linked, chat and images cost nothing. You only pay for what Rend generates for you, like AI video clips, from credit you top up.

What things cost.
Editing is included. You only pay when Rend makes or runs something for you, and only for what it actually uses.
- Video generation: 8¢ a second in Standard and 15¢ in HD: $1.20 for a 15-second scene, $2.25 in HD. $0.50 minimum per take, the fast lane costs 1.5×, and failed takes are free. A 2½-minute music video is about $30, every take counted.
Other tools
- Blender 3D renders: billed per second of GPU. A render that fails pays for the seconds it used.
- Agent computer: the first 60 minutes each month are free on every account, then about $0.95 an hour while it runs. Pro includes 2 more hours a month, Max 10.
- Studio chat: free with your own Claude, or on Rend’s Claude from your credit. Each message shows its cost as it runs.
- Images, voice and sound effects: free with your own OpenAI, Google or ElevenLabs account; otherwise from your credit.
- Music: about 13¢ a track.
- Motion graphics: free; they count toward export minutes when exported.
- Processing: 1¢ a minute (uploads, transcripts, code). An upload pays once for its length, which covers checks, contact sheets, shot scans and conversion; code jobs, footage imports and audio extracts pay for their run time. Rend’s own clips and exports are never charged.
- Reference videos: a scan of any video is free. A full watch with sound, when you ask for one, is about 10¢ for a short ad and about 30¢ for 30 minutes, and doubles on January 1.
- Video Review: your agent checks its own work for free while it builds. A Video Review of the finished export is priced before it starts: about $0.50–1.10 for a short video.
- Exports: included, 5 minutes a month on Free, 120 on Pro and 600 on Max (4K counts 4×). Re-exporting an unchanged edit is always free. Beyond your plan, usually under $0.30 each.
Plans and credit
- Credit: top-ups never expire. Plan credit is spent first, rolls over up to three months' worth while you're subscribed, and stays yours if you cancel.
- Storage: 10 GB free, 250 GB on Pro, 2 TB on Max. Need more? +1 TB for $24/month, or pay as you go at $0.024 per GB a month.
- Unlimited agent calls and bandwidth on every plan.
